Rick is a bestselling author and award-winning filmmaker who learned the hard way how to promote his own projects. He has made documentaries for PBS, The History Channel, A&E, National Geo and others. His most recent film, The Ghost Army (funded in part by a Kickstarter campaign) was hailed as “mesmerizing” by the San Francisco Chronicle and “entrancing” by TV Guide. He is also the author of the popular Greatest Stories Never Told series of history books.  A former journalist and ad guy, he has appeared on CBS News, MSBC, CNN, The Discovery Channel, NPR and Fox News.

Marilyn Rea Beyer is the PR Director at the Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown, MA, where her efforts have heightened Perkins’ visibility in the local and national media. She also hosts a daily radio show on WUMB-FM, the premier folk radio station in the US. Previously, she handled PR and Marketing at WUMB. She has an M.A. from Northwestern University’s School of Communications.
