Rick Beyer will present his documentary about the top-secret WWII deception unit that used inflatable tanks, sound effecs, and illusion to fool the Germans on the battlefields of Europe.  Arthur Singer, one of the soldiers who served in that unit, is the subject of an ongoing exhibition at the RIT Gallery, “Arthur Singer: The Wildlife Art of an American Master."

Filmmaker Rick Beyer presents his documentary , "The Ghost Army," the story of the top-secret World War II unit that used inflatale tanks, sound effects, and illusion to fool the Germans on the battlefields of Europe.  Co-hosted by The Arlington International Film Festival and the Robbins Library.  TV Guide called it “entrancing.” Premiered in the United State on PBS, and broadcast in more than 21 other countries. Winner of a CINE Golden Eagle and several film festival awards. Co-hosted by the Arlington International Film Festival and Robbins Library.

The opening scene of Rick Beyer's book Rivals Unto Death takes place at New York City's Frances Tavern, where Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr sat next to each other at a dinner just one week before their famous duel.  Beyer comes to this very spot to talk about the book, and the thirty year rivalry between the two men that led them to the dueling ground in Weehawken NJ. There will be a book signing after the talk.
